‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: Talking the mystery of Osha and Rickon
Are we ever going to see more of Osha and Rickon Stark on “Game of Thrones“? We certainly hope so at some point. Osha became one of the most-popular Wildings in the time that we came to know her, while Rickon to us remains the forgotten Stark child. We would like to think that he would have a role to play eventually, but for now the two are off venturing towards parts unknown.
Clearly, the actress playing the Osha character would love to see what happens moving forward, and is hoping that George R.R. Martin writes more of her into the book series. Speaking per Vulture, just take a look at what Natalia Tena had to say:
“Let’s see what happens in the sixth book. I’m hoping he gives us more adventures! Fingers crossed. I don’t know entirely what they’re going to do yet on the show, if they’re going to pick up with us next season. I don’t think they’ve finalized the scripts yet, or who’s doing what, or what they’re picking up from the books, or where they’re going off-book. Where is it going to go? I don’t know.”
We do imagine that this story will be picked up at some point, even if it is just for an episode or a tiny update somewhere. Rickon’s last name alone makes him reasonably important to the story, and if it is never addressed again, there would always be questions about what happens to the remaining Stark boy. Depending on what happens to all of his siblings, he could also be very important when it comes to lineage purposes. Jon Snow doesn’t have the right last name, and Arya, Sansa, and Bran all have been in varying states of peril for some time.
“Game of Thrones” will return in April 2015, but we want to be your consistent source of updates for all things until then! Just click here if you want to grab some more news now pertaining to the show, and also sign up if you want to obtain more scoop via our newsletter.
