‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Derrick’s morning monologue
It wouldn’t be the “Big Brother” house without someone speaking to the cameras, and we do always appreciate it when they do.
That’s why for the time being, Derrick is one of our favorite players for following along the footsteps of Boogie, McCrae, and other players who would recognize that we’re out here watching. Early this morning, he gave us a few updates about where his head is really at strategically, just in case we were not getting a chance to see it accurately in the game itself.
- His closest allies for the time being are the other members of Team America (Frankie and Donny), and then also Cody. He and Cody officially named themselves “The Hitmen” last night, and want to go all the way to the final two.
- He doesn’t take the Bomb Squad seriously at all, and has most of his priorities elsewhere at this point.
- He feels like he has positioned himself now to the point where he won’t have to make any enormous moves to go very far in the game.
- He’s mostly happy that he won Head of Household just to see his family, and since Devin is almost surely going home, it was a pretty easy week.
We feel like Derrick will be able to go back and blend into the house again quickly … at least for now. What he has to watch out for is what happens after another threat or two leave the game. Thursday’s HoH could either be questions or endurance, and those do not really give many of his own allies an advantage. It’s to be seen where the chips will fall, and after people like Caleb and Victoria (an obvious target just because she’s useless) are gone, it’ll be interesting to see what happens from there.
