‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: The Veto winner and interesting times ahead
There was no competition on “Big Brother 16” so far than Saturday’s Power of Veto, mostly because what happens here could ultimately shatter the entire fabric of the game depending on what happens. It is the chance to send Devin home, and if they do not take advantage of it, who’s to know when they will get another opportunity like this?
While we figured that Devin was a serious threat to win this, there is one person who we did not even think would try very hard at it: Donny. Ironically, this is the guy who is wandering around the house now with that necklace on his neck. The reason why we didn’t think he would play hard is simply because in winning, he will basically be put in a position where he works to eliminate Devin, who he doesn’t fully trust but was still his ally on night one. However, he would feel so much pressure from the house to nominate him that he would almost surely go through with it.
At the moment, Donny is planning on using the Veto, and Devin will most likely go up as the replacement nominee. The tricky thing here is that he wants to use it on Jocasta, who Derrick probably wanted to stay on the block rather than Caleb. This means that Caleb and Devin will likely be the two sitting there on Thursday night, which ensures that a Bomb Squad member is going home.
It’s easy to say right now that Devin’s goose is cooked, but there is a lot of time left in the week and Caleb is by many estimations a bigger threat. While he has not ticked off the whole house or gone insane like Devin has, he has a whole lot more pull in the game socially and is just as good in competitions. Getting rid of him hurts the likes of Frankie and Devin both pretty badly, and also impacts Amber, Cody, Zach, and Derrick to a certain extent. Given on if the non-Bomb Squad people can gather some pull, it wouldn’t completely stun us if Caleb goes home.
There is a lot of time left in this week, and even until the Veto Ceremony, which will most likely be Monday. We’ll let you know some further updates as they happen.
