ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2 lands first Comic-Con panel; Kurtwood Smith, more attend

Resurrection -While “Resurrection” was a show that had its occasional off moments when it aired earlier this year, it was still a show that we particularly were fascinated by. It had powerful moments, interesting questions about life and death, and also Kurtwood Smith.

So to hear this year that the show will be coming to San Diego Comic-Con is something that excited us greatly. It will be held in Room 6DE on Friday, July 25, and take place from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Pacific time. TV Guide Executive Editor Michael Schneider is the moderator, and you’ve got a panel of executive producers that includes Tara Butters, Aaron Zelman, and Michele Fazekas to go along with stars Smith, Omar Epps, Frances Fisher, and Devin Kelley.  Given that the show is returning this fall, you should have an opportunity through this to get a few more details on what lies ahead.

Could there be a teaser trailer for the show’s return shown off at the convention? We definitely wouldn’t rule it out, mostly because this is something that “Once Upon a Time,” another ABC Studios show appearing at the convention, has done many times in the past. They both recognize that this is the right sort of venue to really sell themselves to fansas still worth watching, and getting them hooked right away is the right way to do that. Given the ambiguous nature of the “Resurrection” finale in between the bugs and the attempts by Agent Bellamy to escape Arcadia with Jacob, it could behoove everyone involved to have a few more answers thrown in here.
