‘Falling Skies’ season 4, episode 4 preview: What does the Anne – Lexi reunion bring?

When you are living in a world with alien invasions and death almost all around you, it is understandable that you would try from time to time to cling to any moment that you can. Unfortunately for the characters on “Falling Skies,” there are really not that many moments out there for them.

As a matter of fact, a particularly nice one between Anne and Lexi on next week’s episode entitled “Evolve or Die” may only last a few minutes, as Anne is quick to notice that her “child” is hardly a child at all anymore. If you want to get some further updates now, we suggest checking out the synopsis below:

“After breaking out of the Espheni Ghetto, Tom and the 2nd Mass seek refuge in a Volm hideout, where tensions run high between the Volm and humans. Tom sets off with Weaver and Cochise to find Matt, leaving Hal in charge. Meanwhile in Chinatown, Anne is reunited with Lexi, and comes to realize that the little girl she saw 6 months ago is now a grown woman.”

So far, we’ve really enjoyed this season more than some of the others in the early going, even though this may put us in the minority with some fans. While there have been the same sort of standard rescue / escape missions that we’ve seen every year, we feel like the multiple alien races and the added mysteries allow this to be a much more complicated show. Having a few answers, while mixing in some new questions, creates a better overall experience than being stuck on the same issues that you first saw in the pilot.
