‘Heroes: Reborn’ spoilers: Jack Coleman to return following ‘Castle,’ ‘Scandal’ stints

Heroes -Fans of the Jack Coleman and “Heroes” rejoice! NBC has confirmed the first major alum from the classic series to be coming back for “Heroes: Reborn,” and it is one of the most characters to ever be on the show.

According to a new report from Deadline, Jack Coleman is set to reprise his role as Noah Bennett, otherwise known as HRG or the man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses, is going to be a major part of the new show. It is unclear what role he will play, but this is a character who was surrounded constantly with mystery. He was at times a hero, at times a villain, and almost all of the time a pretty impossible guy to read thanks to his mysterious “paper company” that was a front for so much more.

Could this pave the way for Hayden Panettiere to return to the show in her role as Claire? We are certainly not going to rule that out, mostly because this was a role that really turned her into a TV star, and there may be some loyalty there. Also, after all, Claire is Noah’s daughter and it would make sense for her to turn up for an episode or two. The problem here is that she is a regular over on “Nashville,” and does not have that sort of flexibility.

Coleman has appeared on a variety of shows since saying goodbye to “Heroes,” including the likes of “Burn Notice,” “Castle” (as the man responsible for the death of Beckett’s mom), and “Scandal” as the other man in Cyrus and James’ relationship.

What do you think about getting more of HRG, or do you feel like “Heroes” is so far gone after that disaster of a fourth season? Share below, and to get some heroic TV updates from us at CarterMatt now, then sign up for our official newsletter.
