‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 2 video: Ali returns to Rosewood

Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode “Whirly Girl” is going to contain a huge moment in the overall arc of the series. For the first time since her character “died,” Alison DiLaurentis is going to be back in Rosewood in a public way, and she is not going to be at least immediately threatened about “A.”

Thinking that “A” was Shana and that she is now completely gone from the equation, Ali returns to the town in the sneak peek below with Aria, Spencer, and the rest of the Liars … but still barely feels comfortable enough to get out of the bus. After all, her being back in Rosewood does not put an end to some of the problems. She still has her family to deal with, and also the constantly news presence that is sure to follow her around. It’s not that often that you have a young girl returning to down years after being declared dead.

One of the other major problems that Ali is going to have uncover here is what in the world happened to her mother. We saw that the woman actually buried her alive, but it’s going to be hard to get answers from her when she herself is six feet under. The death of this character is one of the largest mysteries going into the rest of this season, and after this death is revealed to everyone, it will probably be more clear that the mysteries in this town are far from over.
