‘The Fosters’ season 2 spoilers: Stef and Lena’s time off; plus, a party

“The Fosters” likes to provide familiar stories with a twist from time to time, and for one episode in particular moving into this second season, you will get a chance to see what happens when you see Brandon try to have a relatively normal weekend that quickly turns into an insane party. It’s the typical “party when the parents are away” episode, but it will be a lot more complicated than that.

This episode is entitled “Play” (appropriately), and it is the third one of this season airing two weeks from Monday. In the event that you want to see more about how Callie is going to try to handle this situation and why Stef and Lena are away in the first place, just take a look at the synopsis below:

“Stef and Lena go on a babymoon, leaving Brandon and Callie in charge of the house. Brandon’s bandmates pressure him into having a few friends over to hear their new sound, but when Mariana and Jesus find out, the night turns into an all-out rager. Determined to follow Stef and Lena’s rules, Callie tries to police the party but fails miserably. Jude finds himself in an awkward game of spin the bottle. Meanwhile, Lena tries to reconnect with Stef, who is finding it hard to relax on their weekend getaway.”

In the end, we do imagine that everything will probably work out all right, even if before that there is a little bit of chaos that does unfold. Isn’t there always on ABC Family shows?
