Last night’s “Hart of Dixie” ended with a number of big cliffhangers, but one of them was something that had a decidedly season 1 feel to it as we saw the Lemon Breeland character get onboard a boat for a dating cruise, only to be unaware of the fact that there were two guys literally banging on the door to be with her on dry land.
Who are these two guys? Think George and Lavon, who were both romantically involved with her in a way that created so much drama in the show’s early going. With this love triangle established again, we feel that the time is right to revisit the question as to who she is better with. To make this like “The Bachelorette” (minus the roses and general creepiness), they each bring with them a set of advantages and disadvantages:
George – We’ve felt more like these two were endgame than Lemon and Lavon, and they have a good back-and-forth with each other. It also has felt like the two have constantly been hindered by something standing in the way, but once Lavon is out of the picture, they really do not have that to worry about anymore.
Lavon – Meanwhile, we actually prefer Lavon and AnnaBeth at this point, and maybe he will come back to that. The problem with this pairing is that Lavon really has never had the sort of normal relationship with Lemon that George has. He doesn’t know what it’s like, and this may in the end feel like more of an ideal to him.
