‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 15, episode 22 preview: Another difficult scene

Law & Order: SVU logoThere is going to be a theme at times for Wednesday night’s new episode of “Law & Order: SVU,” and that is watching one very difficult scene play out right after another. While William Lewis has not risen from the grave or anything, this is still a difficult story to watch in the way that many other cases have been in the past.

In case you haven’t seen any of the teasers about this episode just yet, what you need to be made aware of now is that the primary storyline revolves around a popular producer who is being accused of molesting his own daughter by the child’s mother, and the case of course becomes the subject of great public scrutiny.

But what is really going on here? This is what all parties are hoping to figure out in the courtroom. It’s always possible that this was all a plot in order to sabotage the man’s good name, and there have been many times in which this has transpired in the past. With that in mind, you cannot really be surprised that this becomes a matter that is pressed.

This episode is coming on at what is ultimately a pretty strange time when it comes to headlines about similar things happening in the real world with producers and a popular director being accused of doing unspeakable things to young men. In case you are wondering, though, this episode was not meant to play off of those headlines at all, and was written long before some of those headlines started to come out.
