ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 21: Did Emily Thorne take down Conrad Grayson
You have been waiting for some significant movement on “Revenge,” right? Season 2 barely went anywhere save for killing people off, and it felt like now or never this season when it comes to if we were going to see Emily finally blow up the family responsible for taking everything away from her.
Well, tonight’s “Impetus” certainly fit that bill and then some, as Emily, through a plan that included an oblivious (as usual) Charlotte, managed to expose Conrad Grayson as the monster that he is to the public. Thanks to that, he was finally brought to justice and arrested. This was the big move that is step one in ruining this family forever. This empire is never going to be the same, and this adds another layer to the Daniel character to go along with it.
As Emily knows, though, this is just one part of the equation … and Victoria is still out there. She has shown herself time and time again to be of the resourceful persuasion, and in managing to get the DNA of Jack’s son Carl, she has been able to further put some theories to rest regarding whether or not the woman that he was with was really Amanda Clarke at all. From here, it is only a process of elimination to find the real Amanda.
This episode was a long time coming, and it’s hard to believe that Victoria didn’t figure this out before now. But with her family shamed and her empowered with knowledge, Victoria is now a completely different woman. Things are going to get interesting … and get interesting very fast.
