‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 finale spoilers: Lana Parrilla’s Regina, a twist, and more

Tonight’s “Once Upon a Time” episode was a pretty exciting one, but in the closing minutes it started to feel like everyone was going to have an opportunity to relax. Zelena was seemingly gone, and the residents of Storybrooke could go back to living their normal lives … or at least what they considered to be normal given the circumstances.

The most interesting thing about the finale episode is really just how little is ultimately known about it. The promo below doesn’t even make that much clear about the story ahead, even if Lana Parrilla’s Regina seems to be front and center for it. The biggest thing that you are to remember here is to keep watch of the final minutes. There is a twist here coming that is so big that not even all of the actors on the show know what is coming up here.

Will there also be a cliffhanger? One thing to remember here is that this is “Once Upon a Time”! Of course, there are is going to be something to leave you hanging for the weeks and months ahead. The show has really turned things around this year after some struggles during parts of season 2 and the start of this one, and focused in on the characters doing interesting things. Hook and Emma are getting closer again, and the biggest open thread to us is whether or not Belle is ever going to find out that Rumpelstiltskin is still … well, the same old bad guy. He’s lying to her, so his proposal is completely hollow.
