‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5, episode 20 video: Ian Somerhalder’s Damon is unafraid

On Thursday night’s new episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” we are going to learn some new things when it comes to Damon’s feelings about the Luke character. Specifically, he is not much of a fan of anything that this guy is up to.

Granted, we sort of understand where Damon is coming from in the sneak peek video below. He’s losing it! After all, there’s some serious trouble coming courtesy of Enzo, and the fact that Stefan lied to Damon about whether or not this guy is actually still among the living. It has been confirmed that Enzo is going to return in ghost form, and we are going to learn that he is still very capable of causing all sorts of trouble even from the other side.

As for some of Damon’s other troubles, the principal one here is that his relationship with Elena is still very much all over the place. These two are always going to be inexplicably linked, regardless of what they are going through. For Ian Somerhalder’s character, think of this preview as a stepping stone. There are going to be some truly insane things to come, and we just have to prepare for them at this point. Expect deaths, surprises, and some twists that you will never see coming in a million years.

Could Luke be a possible death? Well, we are certainly worried about it, since the majority of the show’s recurring roles over the years have a bad track record of sticking around. Most of the regulars have already been in near-death situations.
