ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 21 preview: Charlotte’s abduction; Emily’s last blow

Charlotte -ABC’s promotion department better be telling the truth when they discuss how next week’s new “Revenge” episode may be one of the most-dramatic ones to date. As a matter of fact, the official promo for “Impetus” below suggests that this will finally be the hour when the Grayson family has their entire world and fortune crumble to the ground.

One of the ways that this is going to apparently begin? By seeing the kidnapping of Charlotte. In a way, we feel rather awful for this character given that she never seems to have anything good or positive to her happen at all. She’s a perpetual victim, and constantly stuck watching terrible things happen to her and her family while she cannot get control over it. We’ve long wondered if she would die, but it doesn’t feel like there is much realism in getting rid of her a year after Declan. Plus, it feels much too obvious at this point, since someone like Conrad or Daniel would be a much more surprisingly target. (Obviously, Victoria will not go anytime soon.)

ABC did not give you much at all when it comes to scoop in this episode’s synopsis, but go ahead and take a look at it anyway:

“Dire circumstance leads Emily to take extreme measures against both the Graysons and those closest to her.”

As of right now, we’d love to see the finale end with Victoria in shambles, but also the knowledge that she needs to bring the war right to Emily:  That she knows exactly who she is.

What do you want to see on this big “Revenge” episode, and do you really think that we are near the end of the Grayson regime as we know it? As always, feel free to share your thoughts below, and also head over to the link here to get some further updates pertaining to the show.
