‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: See Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki in ‘Bloodlines’ world

Supernatural -Tuesday night’s “Supernatural” may actually be a make-it-or-break-it episode for the “Bloodlines” spin-off to make it to TV. If the audience really likes what they see, then the show has a good chance of getting picked up. However, this could also be what keeps the show from airing at all. So far, buzz surrounding the spin-off has not been as strong as “The Flash” or even another CW pilot in “iZombie,” which means that the pressure could really be on here.

But regardless of whether or not “Bloodlines” moves forward, there are some things to look forward to here. For one, it’s the Winchesters in a big city! This is a rare sight to see, but Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will see their characters in “Chicago” this week, or at least what the show wants you to believe is the Windy City.

Bloodlines -As for what will be the cast of this series if it is picked up, Nathaniel Buzolic is to us the most high-profile name the show has. He was a key person on “The Vampire Diaries” for an arc, and he gained a huge following as Kol that led to many demands that the character be revived. None of these demands ultimately worked, but they were still out there and Buzolic now has a chance to stick around for a while on another show.

Bloodlines -Meanwhile, Lucien Laviscount is giving another CW series a go after getting into pilot season last year, and his role as Ennis Roth is the potential lead of the show. He is a young cop in the city with the potential to be a hunter. This is the character we’re still trying to be sold on, since our brain initially envisioned Ennis as someone a little older and grittier, but that may just be because we are more used to the 2014 Sam and Dean at this point than the brothers that started the show back nine years ago.
