‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: See Stephen Amell in ‘City of Blood’ photo
When “Arrow” airs its next new episode on Wednesday night, it is pretty clear that nothing is ever going to be the same for these characters again.
First of all, the reminder that the title is “City of Blood,” and with (spoiler alert!) the death of Moira Queen now tragically in the books, you can basically guarantee now that another combatant to Sebastian Blood is not going to be out there. It is hard to deny that when it comes to Sebastian, Slade Wilson did him a favor by making sure that Moira was dead (even if it came as a result of a choice). With her out of the way, Sebastian has an easy position of power, which only in turn helps Slade and his agenda.
Here is where things get a little bit tricky. How in the world is Sebastian going to reconcile the moment where Slade’s army comes in and starts causing damage? Wasn’t his whole goal to try and make Starling City into a better place? Maybe Slade doesn’t really care if his army gets destroyed so long as he ensures that Oliver is captured and killed. He doesn’t seem to have that great of an interest in world domination as much as he does revenge, and what may be somewhat more interesting is what happens with Isabel Rochev. Her goals are a little more complicated, given that she also seems to enjoy her position of power at the head of Queen Consolidated. While we don’t necessarily see her running the corporation forever, we would give her a better shot of sticking around right now than we would Slade. We just cannot imagine him living past this season unless they wanted to extend this story for another year.

I was starting to fall away from this show, but it actually pulled me back in, I think what they are doing is pretty awesome, just wish it would have a shared universe with Man of Steel, I guess things like that have to be too well coordinated. If The Avengers, does a shared universe with SHIELD then really it makes more sense to have Man of Steel not be a shared universe with Arrow to keep characters open and make things flow more.
