‘The Amazing Race 24’ preview: Hotel hell

Sunday night’s “The Amazing Race” episode is going to do a particular job bringing out the worst in people … or at least those who choose to visit a certain hotel in Switzerland.

For some sort of random challenge that takes place in the episode, the remaining teams will have to each dress up, and then partake in some cleanup duty. How excited are we for this? Let’s just say that we are about as excited to do this as we are a challenge about sewing. Despite whatever sort of comedy the teams can put into this, you are still just basically watching people clean a hotel room for a challenge, and in one of the most beautiful countries in the entire world. Think about the possibilities for a minute.

So who could actually benefit from cleaning up a room? Based on their feelings towards the challenge itself, possibly Caroline & Jennifer. These two have done a pretty remarkable job most of the race at defying expectations, and this is something that seems to play to their strengths, given that the claim to actually enjoy cleaning. It’s not too often that anyone can say that.

As for who is in real danger, our answer to that may be either Dave & Connor or Brendon & Rachel. Neither one of them is highlighted much in this preview, so that means that they are either very far ahead, or at least a little ways behind. We like to think that if these three teams (the Cowboys, the Afghanimals, and the country singers) knew that their life in the race was on the line, wouldn’t they all have a little more fire in their eyes?
