‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: More on Tessa the Reaper’s return

Have you been insanely curious as to why in the world Tessa the Reaper is coming back to “Supernatural” for an episode later this season? Well, the good news is that we have at least a little more information … but there’s a difference between getting info and actually getting answers.

On Tuesday, May 13, you are going to see this character return for “Stairway to Heaven,” which has the potential to be one of the coolest episodes of the show that we have seen to date. First of all, the name is sweet. Also, you have everything finally colliding from the First Blade to the angel war to so much more. Castiel has followers, as well, and some of them are not up any good.

Take a look now at the full synopsis:

“After a massive attack on the angels, Castiel (Misha Collins) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. As they leave, Dean’s eagerness to bring the First Blade doesn’t go unnoticed by Sam who is worried about the cost to his brother whenever he uses the Blade. Meanwhile, Castiel is shocked when he learns the angel that caused the attack was one of his followers and did it in his name. Dean discovers there is a conspiracy amongst Castiel’s angel followers and at the heart of it is Tessa, the Reaper.”

The obvious reason that we are still curious about Tessa is that when she shows up, there’s typically a good reason. Therefore, it becomes one of those situations where you can become happy to see her, but at the same time kind of uncomfortable because you know that her presence is probably not going to mean good things for many people.
