‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 2 preview: Natalie Dormer, Jack Gleeson teases

Game of Thrones -Tonight’s “Game of Thrones” episode “The Lion and the Rose” is going to be a big one … at least if all the information that is out there on the internet turns out to be true. This is the big Royal Wedding episode that you’ve been waiting for, and in addition to everything happening at King’s Landing, you will see some other characters for the first time this season.

In the past, you may have seen a short version of the synopsis below that gave you a few teasers on what lies ahead; now, we have a slightly-longer edition that is coming to us courtesy of TV Guide with a few additional details:

“A who’s who of honored guests turns out for Joffrey and Margaery’s wedding in King’s Landing, but the king’s taste in entertainment rubs many of them the wrong way. Meanwhile, Bronn gives a lesson to an unlikely pupil; Bran’s vision helps map out his journey; Stannis loses patience with Davos; and Ramsay takes a perverse delight in his new pet.”

So for certain, you will see the first appearance of Bran, most likely Hodor, Stannis, Davos, Melisandre, Ramsay, and the man formerly known as Theon Greyjoy (but now known as Reek) in this hour. That is a lot to cover still in addition to the wedding, but this show tends to pack things in rather tightly.

One other fair assumption is that you are probably going to see more of Oberyn Martell after his stellar introduction last week, given that he is specifically in King’s Landing for the wedding … among other, more-violent things.
