‘Big Brother Canada 2’ review: Are Andrew’s days finally done?

Andrew Gordon -We’ll say this about Andrew Gordon from “Big Brother Canada“: He at least made it slightly further in the game this season than the last time there was a houseguest named Andrew Gordon around in season 12. For the first half of the episode, he put up pretty much no fight at all. Then, he tried to campaign; and then, he pretty much decided not to fight again.

The saddest thing about Andrew leaving is that we picked him pre-game to be our runner-up. Then again, he came off really well in his pre-game interviews, and we didn’t know he had that tattoo. (Major turn-off with that.) He at least left the house with a little bit of dignity, and hopefully he realizes now that he cannot expect a nation to like him when he puts himself in a position for rude comments to get on TV.

That is ultimately the difference to us between Andrew and Adel: Both have said some pretty bad stuff (Adel’s comments at times have been even more offensive), but when things are happening that matter to the game, Adel’s been on the better behavior. He’s been the far more self-aware of the two when it comes to important moments in the game, and that’s why casual viewers seem to love him and hate Andrew.

As for the next Head of Household … we don’t know the winner yet. For some reason, the show decided to force you to watch Sunday (unless you watch the live feeds) to find out who the winner is for some reason. Were they afraid of spoilers at the taping? It’s either that or they really want people to watch the show Sunday night. Not a good way to end what would’ve been a great episode. Grade: C.
