‘Glee’ season 5: Naya Rivera (seemingly) denies rumors of leaving show

We understand why there are those out there rumored about whether or not Naya Rivera is leaving “Glee,” at least in that her story has been kept under wraps following the conclusion of the 100th episode two-part event, and that she hasn’t been seen on set while many other actors have.

However, we now have two very strong piece of evidence to suggest that despite whatever conversation may be out there, the actress behind the Santana Lopez character is staying put. In a new post on her Twitter account, Rivera had the following to say first and foremost regarding some of the talk that was out there:

“‘Being a part of something special makes you special’. Glee has and continues to be one of the most special journeys in my life.”

While she may not have necessarily spelled everything out, the word “continues” should be the smoking gun here that Naya has no plans to go anywhere in the future. In case this wasn’t enough for you for whatever reason, TVLine also reports through a source that she’s not going anywhere. The reason that we haven’t heard much about her story after next week’s “New Directions” is probably just because she’s doing something a little bit different. Or, maybe she’s just not around for a few episodes and will be back.

Anyway, Naya is going to be a part of “Glee” still, so you have nothing to worry about anymore. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy what the show has coming up.
