‘Survivor: Cagayan’ preview: The tribe swap leads to awesome chaos

Alexis -Thanks in part to the tribe swap happening on Wednesday night’s “Survivor: Cagayan” episode, it’s a little hard to formulate rankings for everyone. Anything can happen when you lump people together, and we’ll therefore be back with more of that next week.

For now, what we are a little bit more interested in is discussing just what some of the new dynamics to the game are going to be. You have two tribes of seven now, and while it is a little unclear how they will be divided, it appears almost as though it will happen at random … and this may benefit the three brains (Kass, Spencer, and Tasha) greatly. Why? They all seem to be on the same tribe again, along with Sarah, Alexis, Jeremiah, and Morgan. Basically if the Brains and the Beauty tribe members stuck together, you would have those two each on an axis with the swing vote being Sarah. (The other tribe, which is Woo, Tony, Cliff, LJ, Jefra, Lindsey, and Trish, is pretty boring and will probably win out until the merge.)

But, could things be changing up here courtesy of Alexis? Her presence in the preview below is the most interesting, since she seems to form a pact with the Brains that will keep all of them safe for a while. This puts them in the majority on this tribe, and they could peck off the other three whenever they wanted. Given that LJ and Tony are the ones with immunity idols, that would make this a little easier.

If we were the Brains, the first person we’d pick off is Jeremiah. You know where Morgan stands traditionally, but he’s a guy who cannot be fully trusted. From there, we’d get rid of Sarah since it reduced the numbers of the Brawn tribe by at least one going into the merge.

But, we’ll see what happens tomorrow night. Who knows? Maybe the tribe with the stronger guys finds a way to lose, and Tony manages to actually get Cliff out of the game.
