‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 finale spoilers: A twist for Ian Harding’s Ezra; Alison scoop

Just a mere two days before “Pretty Little Liars” ends season 4 on ABC Family, the cast and crew gathered together at PaleyFest for a lively panel discussion on just about everything important to the show. This included a great deal of discussion about events that went way beyond Tuesday’s episode.

With that in mind, let’s start to share some of what Marlene King and the cast passed down in terms of information. Obviously, there are some spoilers ahead.

1. There is a significant twist coming up for Ezra in the finale, and it will set up an arc for season 5 that raises all sorts of interesting questions. For one, can this character be redeemed?

2. It was all but confirmed that Sasha Pieterse (Alison) is going to be around much more for the fifth season. She’s already a regular, and this just adds more to the story.

3. Caleb will officially return for the show’s 100th episode airing later this summer, and from that point on Tyler Blackburn will be very much involved in the show. There are no plans for anything to be changed just because of his role in the “Ravenswood” spin-off.

4. There have been discussions regarding whether or not to have a musical episode for the show, but the challenge is time given that these are not easy to produce.

5. Also, creator Marlene King is open for a movie, but after the show comes to an end.
