‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ spoilers: Terrell Owens, Shawn Johnson, more linked
The cast for “The Celebrity Apprentice” this season may end up being more entertaining than we ever imagined … and that is largely because we thought that this was going to be a complete disaster zone a few weeks ago (and not in the fun way).
Are there still some weak additions to this season? Sure, but we are at least getting to see by and large a crop of people we have at least heard of. The latest additions to the cast more or less echo that.
Terrell Owens – Get your popcorn ready! TMZ Sports claims that the controversial NFL star will be a part of the season, and we couldn’t be more excited. Most athletes are pretty boring television; T.O., meanwhile, is not. This should be interesting.
Vivica A. Fox – We know who she is, but we do question whether or not she has anything new to bring to the table. This seems like someone who will be gone within the first four or five weeks of the season.
Shawn Johnson – The trend of “Dancing with the Stars” alum appearing in the boardroom continues! Shawn’s energetic and entertaining, and is also one of the youngest contestants in the boardroom this season.
Lorenzo Lamas – He should be pretty entertaining, and at this point may as well be Stephen Baldwin when it comes to reality TV appearances.
Gabrielle Reece – The only name of this group that we weren’t that familiar with, but Us Weekly reports that the volleyball star will be on board.
Why do these stars subject themselves to this sort of consistent torment? The easy answer to that is that strangely, “The Celebrity Apprentice” has a good track record at helping to relaunch careers or taking them to the next level. Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, Curtis Stone, Arsenio Hall, Holly Robinson Peete all benefited heavily from being a part of this show.
