‘Glee’ season 5, episode 12 video: Dianna Agron, Amber Riley on 100th episode reunion

Glee -Even if you haven’t watched “Glee” over the past several months, you may still be tempted to tune in for the 100th episode … and with good reason. It’s a big New Directiosn reunion for one! Everyone that you have come to love on the show over the years is going to be back, and there will be the potential for some great repeat performances to go along with it.

In the video below, the one that you really get a good sense of is the revival of “Defying Gravity,” one of the biggest songs from the show’s first season as Rachel and Kurt competed for a solo back in the day. Chris Colfer talks up the challenge of not only doing this incredibly-hard-to-sing number again, but then also having to do it in front of someone in Kristin Chenoweth who knows it better than anyone. After all, she is the person known for performing it! Colfer, Lea Michele, and Amber Riley all perform the track in succession.

In addition to this, Dianna Agron also shared in the video below a little bit of how she never expected to be back on the show sporting a Cheerio uniform … but here she is. She, Naya Rivera, and Heather Morris are going to reunite for some more scenes as the unholy trinity, and potentially even give us some more updates in their characters’ lives in the process.

This episode is a two-parter that carries over into “New Directions” next week, and that is the hour that will feature the end of McKinley Hugh as a primary setting for the show. Therefore, expect at least a little bit of closure with some of the characters that you have come to know from there. We already have seen many cast members, after all, shoot some new scenes in New York City itself.
