‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: See Rachel Bilson, more in extended new trailer
In just under a week now on Friday, March 21, “Hart of Dixie” will be back on the air again with new episodes. Commence your rejoicing! This is an opportunity to dive headfirst back into some fun BlueBell escapades, and see where the writers take this journey for the rest of the season.
Of course, the first thing that we have to ask for fans of this show is to just watch it, and watch it live in its new timeslot Friday nights. It will likely be aided by a lack of competition, but at the same time, it is a huge detraction having to go on a night where so many young people are you doing what most of these characters typically do at parties: Drink and celebrate.
Based on the internet reaction that we’ve seen to season 3 so far, we know what everyone wants to do is if there will be more of Zoe and Wade together … and there isn’t anything like that hinted in that trailer. (However, Rachel Bilson’s character does do something else a little racy.) Most people are still irritated by the presence of Joel, and we stand by what we’ve said for most of the season: We like the character, and we do think that there is a place for him. It just doesn’t have to be with Zoe. Why not keep him and pair him off with someone else down the road if these two break up?

The writers have made me hate Zoe Hart…they’ve turned her into an idiot, made her give up her doctoring, and stuck her in a lifrless, dud of a relationship that should have ended long ago. The season has been wasted on the Zoa/Joel saga that nobody ever cared about…while our favorite love story (Zoe/Wade) has been allowed to die on the vine.

Agree, agree and agree. Too bad as there was nothing else like it on TV and it was like my southern comfort show. I usually record and if I have time will fast forward through it but usually read reviews first, then delete. I wonder what happened the writers? or who left this happen, such a shame. Why would they have given Zoe a make over that make her seem or act like a bimbo on high heels. Her outfits are gorgeous but way, way over the top for the show, not a hair out of place. Couldn’t imagine this version getting through medical school:-)) Love Rachel Bilson, not this new Zoe.:(
