Is there a better show out there when it comes to releasing out-of-context clips than “Supernatural“? No matter what the episode is about, The CW routinely manages to find great ways to extract some pretty funny clips from the episode coming up.
In this case, that statement is certainly true about “Blade Runners.” In the sneak peek below, you can see Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) face a very different problem with Crowley (Mark Sheppard) than they are typically accustomed to: The man is stealing candy. Seriously, this is the King of Hell, and one of the most notorious characters out there. Yet, for whatever reason, they have to deal with his sweet tooth. Sheppard is fantastic in just his facial expressions alone, which is yet another reminder why we are down to see so much more of him on the show than we traditionally get.
As for the remainder of this episode’s story, the big thing that you should probably expect is for some sort of significant drama pertaining to Cain and the quest to try to stop Abaddon. It’s been a little while since the writers have touched on it, but in true “Supernatural” fashion, they are finally circling back now. Given that we are starting now to get a little closer to the end of the season, we imagine that this is the time when there are a number of stories that need to be tackled. Who wants to bet on another Curtis Armstrong appearance before the finale comes to a close? We’d also be okay with another Felicia Day episode, even if those rarely advance the primary story.
