‘Big Brother Canada 2’ live feed spoilers: Sarah’s potato fight, Arlie’s winning streak

Sarah Miller -If there was one common thread to tie together most of the events in the “Big Brother Canada 2” house Wednesday morning, it was tears … and plenty of them. This women’s alliance is already started to look like one of the most dysfunctional ones in the game. It feels like you have a group of people who want to make it work, but the problem here is that none of them actually seem to really like each other at all.

Take, for example, the fact that a huge fight broke out in the house this afternoon by and large thanks to the decision by Ika to eat one of the potatoes that the slop crew was enjoying. Somehow, this turned into screaming (mostly on Sarah’s part), and she then found a group of friends to walk around with. Seriously, all this over a potato? It seems more like she had problems with Ika all week, and this really marked that oh-so-convenient opportunity to really go off about it.

But what we have seen in between this and Sabrina rubbing many people the wrong way is that this is an alliance that is doomed to fail, sort of like Quatro from last year. It’s pretty much impossible for an alliance of 4-5 people, especially made up of people from the same sex, to run the table. The Brigade only partially did it, since the kicked Matt off before he got too far in the game … and Lane would’ve voted to save Britney had he been given a chance.

The other thing to remember here is that there really is no women’s alliance anyway. We’re mostly just watching Sarah and Sabrina play along with it as members of the First Five alongside Andrew, Arlie, and Kenny. We don’t really think that alliance will go the distance either, though. The biggest highlight from this group today came courtesy of Arlie, who decided to do his best Ian Terry, drop trou, and then streak around the house. We only saw a split second of it, but we’ll never get that split second back.
