‘The Amazing Race 24’ episode 3 preview: Brendon & Rachel and trouble in Malaysia
Malaysia is hardly a country that is new to “The Amazing Race,” but on next week’s new episode, hopefully we will see a somewhat-different side to the country than we have previously.
What we do at least get a sense of from the preview that aired at the end of tonight’s episode in China is that the challenges that the teams will face will be somewhat more dangerous. Take for example Brendon & Rachel, who have some sort of serious crisis while out on what appears to be a rafting expedition. Will they be okay? We feel like it, since they, unlike Mark & Mallory, are a little more capable of plowing through bumps in the road. Take, for example, their first-place finish despite some cab trouble in China.
As for some of the other teams, it appears as though you are going to see Cowboys Jet & Cord have some more trouble, but given that they have an Express Pass, they have nothing to worry about. This will most likely be in the end a much more complicated leg of the race with no team making the same sort of catastrophic mistake that we saw tonight. For fans of quality racing, that is a great thing … especially now that it feels like all the teams left are proven to be very great. We have already lost someone in Mallory who has made it to a finale before … even if she did so with a much different partner she could trust in her father Gary.

He asked her to not forget his backpack, so I do not understand how this all happened to Mark and I did not find Mallory a very good teammate.
