‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 14 video: April, Jackson, and a new policy revealed
At the end of this past “Grey’s Anatomy” episode, it was revealed that the hospital board was getting ready to vote on a controversial new measure … one that would make it impossible for there to be any new relationships to pop up of the doctor – intern variety. Meanwhile, most other in-hospital relationships were going to be “discouraged.”
Moving into Thursday night’s new “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away,” it is pretty much confirmed that this policy has been officially put into motion. Owen announces it in the sneak peek below, but the only two that seem to be particularly worried about it are Alex and Jo.
Is there any doubt that Stephanie is the person who filed the complaint? Hardly, and the interesting thing about this is that probably everyone else realizes that it was her, as well. She had the most to gain from trying to hurt Jackson’s new relationship with April, and with pretty good reason after what he did to her. The unfortunate thing that Stephanie does not know is that Jackson and April decided to marry in secret after running off from her previous wedding. This will eventually allow them to be exempt from this work policy, but for the time being they seem happier keeping their newfound love a secret.
The only thing that does not make a whole lot of sense to us? How in the world there is a secret that can be kept here at all!? Everyone saw April seemingly leave the wedding, and they are going to have questions about what happened between her and Jackson. The only way that she can even hope to spin this is by saying that she left more because she wasn’t ready to be with someone than her wanting to be with Jackson.
No matter what, this episode at least promises to be very interesting and stuffed full of drama.
