‘Glee’ season 5 song spoilers: Hear Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato perform again
“Glee” is really doing everything that it can to take advantage of having Adam Lambert in their cast; after all, we’re going to see a number of different performances from him in Tuesday night’s new episode “Trio.”
What is the one that we’re highlighting today? Think along the lines of “The Happening.” This is a fun, energetic number that we’re highlighting here that features primarily Adam, Chris Colfer (Kurt), and the return of Demi Lovato as Dani. The actress really has not had nearly as much to do on the show as we and so many others thought that she would going into this. As a matter of fact, we’re still not quite sure that there has even been a story explanation for her hair suddenly turning another color.
Given that Demi is now out on tour with Fifth Harmony, we have a pretty hard time imagining that she was available to really record any further performances or shoot episodes beyond what is immediately coming up. While it is still technically a mystery as to just what happened to her character, we don’t think that anyone really felt like the Dani character was going to be on the show for that long to begin with.
In going back to this particular performance, though, it’s a ton of fun. It’s very different from some of the rock songs that Adam has been doing on the show as of late, and we know already that Starchild will have another musical number in this episode that really plays out that part of his personality. (We’ll have a little bit more on that song very soon.)

I totally agree. Kurt is definitely a good actor, a character we adore, & he can carry a tune, but him singing next to Lambert, only highlghts Chris’s run of the mill singing talents. Adam blows Chris’s singing out of this world. I’ve never researcherd this, but I would bet that the songs Chris sings as far back as season 1 of Glee,, fans are not racing to itunes to buy & downloads the songs Chris sings. Darren Criss is still hands down, the most talented cazt member. I would also bet (& I’m not a gambler) that the songs sung by Darren Criss are bought & downloaded a heck of a lot more by fans, than all the rest of the of the Glee cazt members combined. I certainly hope there will be at least a few songs sung bLambert & Criss. That would be incredible to see

What is interestng listening to these new song is how Adam has the ability to glide into different singing levels to balance his duets. What a talent.

Matt thanks for the article. But there will be four songs Adam is featured in next week. Barracuda (ROCK), The Happening, Gloria and one more. He sounds amazing in the first three songs especially Barracuda.
