ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Is Barry Sloane the only actor with new pilot?

Victoria -Is “Revenge” going to have to find itself a whole new chorus of male actors for next season? Provided that the show gets renewed and some of the people that we are discussing today get some new deals, it is certainly very much possible.

According to a new report from Deadline, Justin Hartley (who has played a major part all season long as Victoria’s secret son Patrick) is going to star in the new ABC comedy pilot entitled “Damaged Goods,” where he will play the part of Tim, an egocentric guy who is forced to really examine his life when both his girlfriend and co-worker at his law firm gets a promotion that he thought he was going to have. The series is a look at love and relationships and all that goes into them … and the two guys at the center of it certainly will fit the title perfectly.

One of the hard things for “Revenge” fans here is that since Hartley is not a regular, there is nothing that really binds him to the show; however, we’re sure that an appearance or two could be worked out if both shows end up continuing for next year, provided that the writers have the right story to tell. But that is a lot of variables to try and sift through. ABC has a competitive roster of pilots already, and “Revenge” is firmly on the bubble right now. The biggest thing that is helping its chances at a renewal is simply that another season would get it to the syndication threshold. We’re predicting a final season for it that is designed as such, just so fans get the ending to Emily Thorne’s tale that they want.
