‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9, episode 19 video: Barney’s search for a suit

Is there trouble on the horizon for Barney Stinson? Maybe. After all, it is not very often that you see Neil Patrick Harris’ character struggle on “How I Met Your Mother” with something that typically comes to him like it is no big deal at all: Trying to find the perfect suit to wear.

So what is the big problem now? Remember that this is not your ordinary day by any means; it’s his wedding day, and he is struggling royally in an attempt to figure out just what the perfect suit for him could be for this occasion. There are so many choices, and this could totally cause his mind to melt. Basically, we see this as the same sort of situation that the casting producers for “Star Wars” are finding themselves in with a lineup of a million or so people who are interested in some of the various roles in that movie.

There are some other conflicts that will play out through this episode (entitled “Vesuvius”), but some of those for the time being are a mystery. For example, why are we seeing flash-forwards of Ted and the Mother here, and what is going on with Robin and a hockey jersey? The only thing that we are very curious about that is not in this extended promo is Ted possibly getting forced to see a certain movie that he has tried to swear off … mostly because that is a beautiful little callback to another part of the show.
