‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11, episode 15 preview: What familiar face is back?
There are a couple of significant headlines to get to when it comes to the new episode of “Two and a Half Men” airing on CBS Thursday night. First of all, the big one for many is going to be the simple fact that the show is moving. For the first time all season, the show is going to be airing at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, which is a rand-new timeslot for the show over the course of its history.
“Two and a Half Men” started out as a 9:30 p.m. show follow “Everybody Loves Raymond,” but eventually moved to the prime Mondays-at-9:00 spot after Ray Romano checked off the air. It then inhabited that spot for many years before moving to Thursdays at 8:30 after “The Big Bang Theory” … and then eventually shifted to 9:30 this season so that CBS could help “The Millers.” Do we think that this new spot will help ratings? Probably a little, but we still feel like this show is still better suited to follow Sheldon Cooper and company than any other one the network has.
Also, this episode is going to feature the return of a longtime recurring favorite to the series in Judith, who has not been seen in a while. There is always still a little bit of entertainment that comes from seeing her turn up, mostly because her hatred for Alan has burned strong for most of the show’s run … even at times when they were actually together. She certainly adds a little bit more dynamic energy to the mix.
