‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 20 preview: Hanna, Spencer’s Ezra questions

While you watch “Pretty Little Liars” right now, you probably have it figured out that Ezra is up to some pretty bad stuff. We’ve seen him monitor video screens, lie directly to Aria’s face, and of course wear a very famous hoodie that links him to one person and one person only: “A.”

Is he really the Big Bad, though? That is what we’re still waiting to figure out. After all, the last time that we saw someone who looked like they were up to no good, it was Toby … and it turned out that he had no real affiliation to “A” outside of what he was trying to do to protect Spencer. Maybe’s it’s possible that Ezra also entered the fold here with good intentions, only to realize that there really was no way to help Aria unless he started to embrace the darkness a little bit himself … but that’s a big “maybe.” There are a lot of “benefit of a doubt” moments that you would have to give Ezra in order for all of this to make sense.

These are the questions that the likes of Emily and Hanna are asking in the sneak peek below for Tuesday’s “Free Fall.” Is this guy really who he says he is? Is there a chance that Ezra is really not someone so terrible? We’re going to have an opportunity to find out over the course of the rest of the season, and since the finale is entitled “A is for Answers,” that will provide an even better idea.
