‘Glee’ season 5 notes: Naya Rivera video; insane One Direction rumor

Even though there is no major news breaking right now in the “Glee” world, we thought we’d give you a pair of stories to chew on while we eagerly await the return of the show to Fox on Tuesday, February 25.

We’ll begin here with talk of One Direction, mostly because of it being a terrible rumor that was spun out of control courtesy of a British press that is just hungry for something to gossip about. There is chatter courtesy of an interview Matthew Morrison seemingly gave to the Daily Star that the band is “set” to make guest appearances, but here’s the thing: All Matthew really set is that they could appear as students, since they are the right age.

Don’t expect this to ever happen for so many reasons, beginning with the fact that “Glee” is not the hot guest-star destination it once was courtesy of its ratings. Also, we don’t know how attractive it would be now for one-time “X Factor” performers, given that Fox recently canceled the American version of the show after three seasons.

A Naya Rivera video – Now, take a look below at the new video that Naya has helped to get together for her new YouTube channel, which effectively combines the worlds of fashion, music, and much more. This is yet another piece of evidence that she is working on forging her own identity away from the show, and is also preparing for when the show does end.
