‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Stephen Amell teases finale with gigantic scope

See Oliver -There were a number of little points throughout “Arrow’s” first season that we started to feel like the show was becoming more than the average CW show, but it was quite possibly the finale where we started to really understand that this could be the best superhero show ever on TV. It combined everything from character development to non-stop action, and it did so while feeling like it had around ten or twenty times the budget that it actually had. This was almost a master class in how to take advantage of whatever resources that you have at your disposal.

Well, based on what we are hearing now (even if it is still very early in the process), the second season may be able to pull off something equally amazing. Speaking in an interview with ComicBookMovie.com, Stephen Amell suggested that there is already work being done to ensure that the finale meets its budgetary demands, and delivers something that fans will love for years to come:

“Some people haven’t heard about the size and scope of our finale. We are actually saving money on episodes we are shooting right now so that we can put it into the finale. And I have no idea how they are gonna turn that around in time.”

We imagine that the writers and producers will find a way, even if it means a few sleepless nights in order to make it happen. This group has shown itself time and time again to be quite an industrious bunch when it comes to getting the job done.

While there are no confirmed details on the finale yet, some of the villains that could potentially appear include everyone from Brother Blood to Deathstroke (who is set to get his own feature soon) to potentially even Malcolm Merlyn or The Huntress. We’re not even ruling out a new villain or some other surprise from the past. So long as someone is alive, they have to be considered a possibility.
