‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Enter ‘Deathstroke’ … the episode

Manu -By now, you have likely already figured out that Deathstroke is the real Big Bad of “Arrow” season 2. Not only is Slade Wilson alive in the present day, but we have also seen the famed costume. He is the man who is eventually going to make life impossibly hard on Oliver Queen, and by the end of the season, you may as well expect there to be a few battles.

So when could some of these come up? Think potentially around the 18th episode of the season. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim posted today a script page on Twitter for the upcoming 18th episode of the season, and the title really tells you almost everything that you need to know: “Deathstroke.” Clearly, the folks at The CW are not shying away from giving you this story.

Here is another big sign that we are looking at a pretty big episode here: Guggenheim co-wrote this one himself along with Drew Z. Greenberg, and one of the top “Arrow” directors in Guy Bee (also familiar to “Supernatural” fans) will be helming it. The show is bringing out the big guns for what could be a very important episode stuffed full of personal revelations.

So what stories are left to tell now when it comes to Slade? We like to think that there are many of them, whether it be how he got in Starling City in present-day, why he is keeping the identity of the Arrow from Brother Blood, and also why he has now calmed down over time and started to get used to having the serum in his veins. Obviously, there is still much more that happened on the island between him and Oliver, and it will be interesting to see just how that is further explored.
