ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Emily VanCamp and blackouts in ‘Payback’

While you may not be waiting as long for “Revenge” to come on the air as you have for another ABC Sunday-night series in “Once Upon a Time,” we figure that the waiting either way has to be pretty tedious. The lack of new content during the Olympic Games in some ways may be making it even worse.

But, we do come today bearing gifts! Namely, we come with some of the first details about “Payback,” the upcoming episode of the show airing on Sunday, March 9. What can you expect? We have at least a few more details now courtesy of the synopsis below, and they suggest that there is going to be all sorts of great drama for Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe, and the rest of the cast to take on:

“While Emily’s mysterious blackouts threaten everything and everyone she holds dear, Victoria confronts two formidable ghosts from her past.”

The good thing here is that this is not going to be a midseason premiere where the show has to waste much time at all trying to draw you back into the story, given that at this point, you are probably already invested in everything. You’ve already seen the full scope of the consequences of Emily’s blackouts; waking up next to Conrad Grayson would be enough for almost any sensible human being to be afraid.

As for who is going to be confronting Victoria, think along the lines of at least one person related to Justin Hartley’s Patrick. After all, we know that there is some dark history there waiting to be explored.
