ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: Is Sally Langston on the cusp of giving up?

Did you really think that Sally Langston was really going to let a little thing known as killing her husband (note: Obvious sarcasm) get in the way of her plans to be elected moving forward? This is “Scandal,” after all, and nobody ever gives up on anything unless they have no other choice.

According to a new report from TV Guide, Sally is not going to be backing away from anything in the wake of all that has happened. As a matter of fact, she is going to heavily lean on none other than Leo to ensure that she gets everything that she wants. Don’t expect her to suddenly back away from any responsibility, or try to get the you-know-what out of dodge.

The reason that we find this news to be no surprise at all is mostly thanks to everything that we know already about the rest of this season. It is going to be in some ways election-heavy, as Fitz has to navigate all of the negative headlines out there, and actually find a way to stay in office as President. This includes potentially recruiting Olivia Pope again, and that is something that even Mellie seems to be on board with . But will Olivia be too preoccupied to really do anything? That’s the real question, thanks mostly to the news that her mom is back in Washington, and ready to cause trouble.
