‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Assorted details on Louis, Donna, and others

Suits -Why can’t the wait for more “Suits” episodes be shorter? We are in what is a little bit of an aberration for the series when it comes to waiting … at least if you can call it an aberration after just three years on the air. Last year, the show for its winter arc a whole lot earlier than March 6.

There is a silver lining here when it comes to waiting: As creator Aaron Korsh suggested in a Twitter chat this weekend, the break between season 3 and 4 is likely to be much shorter than the midseason break that we have been on the past several months. New episodes should run into April, and then if the pattern holds from last year, the new season will likely start up airing in July. That’s not really a substantial break away at all for a cable show.

As for a few other little hints from Korsh’s Twitter Q&A:

1. The first person that we are going to see Louis try to go to with information on Mike is a woman.

2. Korsh was cagey on whether or not Abigail Spencer’s work on “Rectify” was going to make it hard to use her much in season 4.

3. Michael Phelps was chosen to be an upcoming guest star because he was such a fan of the show, and it was a “good fit” for all the parties involved.

4. For those of you who love Donna and Harvey, you’re not going to have to wait long to see them share time together onscreen: There are some good scenes for the two in the midseason premiere.

In case you haven’t seen the midseason “trailer” (we put it in quotes thanks to the amount of new footage in there), you can see that below.
