‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Chuck’ alum stages return visit

Want to see more Carter Covington on “Hart of Dixie” season 3? If so, we’ve got some pretty great news for you. In addition to sporting one of the best first-names for any character out there, we’re pleased to report that Ryan McPartlin will be back for the upcoming fifteenth episode of the season. We even have photo evidence to the left!

Does the setting here look familiar? If so, it’s because this is the same episode (entitled “Here You Come Again”) that also features the return of Jaime King as Lemon, and you are also going to get a glimpse of Magnolia in this episode, as well. It may be hard to feel a little bit nostalgic for a show that is only three years old, but all of this news about returning characters has us feeling some of those emotions.

Given that “Hart of Dixie” is gearing up for a move to Friday night, otherwise known as a heck of a dangerous time for TV shows these days, it needs all of the support that it can get. Do we feel like it will be more immune than some? Possibly. One of the things that it does have going for it that many other shows do not upon a move to Friday is a passionate audience, and “The Carrie Diaries” showed in some ways that you can maintain most of the same crowd that was watching you on a Monday, when these shows have to compete against monsters like “The Voice,” “How I Met Your Mother,” or “The Bachelor,” depending on the time of year.

We’re looking very much forward to everything that is coming up the rest of the way on “Hart of Dixie” season 3, and we also appreciate anytime that we see an alum from one of our all-time favorite shows in “Chuck” pop up again. Rejoice!
