‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles’ ‘Captive’ quest
Earlier this week, “Supernatural” season 9 aired what was its final episode before the Olympic hiatus in “The Purge,” which we personally considered to be a pretty grand ol’ time. However, at the same time we know that there were a few issues with it for some; namely, it was one of those episodes that did not really do a whole lot to move forward the overall story, save for some Sam / Dean revelations about their relationship.
So moving forward into the February 25 episode “Captives,” are we going to see more of the battle against Heaven, or to stop Abaddon? Maybe in some form. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ characters seem to be much more involved with something tied to the Men of Letters’ history; meanwhile, a familiar rival from this season is going to come face-to-face with Castiel (who is back for this episode). Take a look at the full synopsis below:
“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are stunned to discover the Men of Letters’ bunker is haunted. Their investigation leads them to a storage facility where the demons have been keeping a prize possession. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) is captured by Bartholomew (guest star Adam Harrington).”
We have no idea if these two stories tie together at all, but we do at least appreciate having Misha back on the show again. Plus, we like the Men of Letters episodes so far. Even if they don’t teach us a ton about Metatron or the angel war, we at least get a better sense of Winchester history. We’re always down for that.

Best episodes this season so far — episodes 9 holy terror and 10 road trip. Solid writing and all the boys were in them. Stand Alones this season have been silly and more than a little boring. Glad to see Cas & Crowley back in the game.

I love Cas. I love the shows with him much more then without. He needs to be in this season. I love him almost as much as Dean and I cant wait to see him back. Dean and he have a special relationship and now Sam does too. Its going to be great and any show with Cas in it makes it that much better, I love Cas so much. What I dont like is Snookie going to be in it. I hope Sam and Dean get along better although during work they usually do but I know Sam will eventually come around It probably will be because something is happening to Dean possibly involved with the mark of Cain. I am so interested in seeing what happens with Cas and the angels. I cant wait and am getting excited just thinking about the show I love Dean and Sam and the fact Cas is in it makes it that much better

I could care less about Cas being back-He should have been gone after s5. The Mark of Cain is what is keeping me interested in the show at the moment. The brother fights are fights their soap opera to me. If they would yell and throw things and stomp their feet I might like it better. But for now. Not so much. I am hoping Dean with the Mark of Cain will go somewhere other than a story like the colt. Heres to hoping!!

Thank God Cas is in it. I dont see him leaving until the show ends. He is very popular and most like him. He definitely makes the show better. No he shouldnt have left after 5 and the majority of the fans agree

I’m REALLY hoping that the two stories tie together because I’m heartily sick of Cas being kept separate from Dean and Sam so much this season. I just want Team Free Will back again. Though I too am happy that Misha is back as well. I haven’t even watched the last two episodes because Season 9 has really disappointed me left and right and it has got to the point that Misha/Cas is the only reason that I’m still sticking with this show, so when he’s not there, then I’m not going to bother to watch it anymore. I just wish that Supernatural would go back to the show that I fell in love with in 2012. From 9×01 to 9×11 there have been only about 3 episodes that I actually enjoyed out of season 9 and it just really blows not to be looking forward to Tuesdays and being so excited about a show that I was once so passionate about.

I love this season. The only one I could say I didnt like as much was the last show but all others I liked a lot. I do like the ones with Cas in them better, Not looking forward to the Ghostfacers. I love this show and it is great but like I said I like the ones with Cas better and I like them all to be together too
