‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Kaley Cuoco pulling for Leonard / Penny wedding

Before you tune in to the new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” on Thursday night, there is something that you should know: Most everyone, it seems, wants to see a wedding between Leonard and Penny happen. The only major question that comes into play is just when the two could tie the knot … and if they will get engaged first. We’ve already seen a botched proposal now from both parties, and who knows just how many more of these that we are going to have to go through?

What we can tell you for now is that via Kaley Cuoco’s recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she is ready to play Penny heading down the aisle for the first time:

“I’m ready for them to get married. Maybe because I just got married — so come on Penny and Leonard, it’s been six years! It took us six months! But I hope that’s in the cards for them.”

Kaley, who is now going by Kaley Cuoco Sweeting in the credits for the show, also said that it is possible that there could be more failed proposals in the future, since the show does like to continue little bits from time to time that they start up.

Personally, we’re not in any hurry to see the wedding, mostly because there is something interesting in just watching these two with their relationship constantly in flux. What would be really interesting to us would be seeing what happened if Sheldon and Amy made the next move first, and that made she and Johnny Galecki’s character really start to question why in the world they are not able to work it out: What’s wrong with them?
