ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: A younger version of Conrad Grayson
Was Conrad Grayson always the despicable human being that he is in the prison on “Revenge“? We are going to find out courtesy of the upcoming 17th episode of this season airing this spring.
Before we do anything else, let’s start with the super-ambiguous title that this show is know for (after all, nobody does it better than this show): “Addiction.” That does at least suggest a longing, and a problem that is so severe, it is beyond the control of the character suffering with it.
Now, we get to the meat of this story: Getting to meet a young version of Henry Czerny’s character. According to SpoilerTV, Cody Wood will be playing the part. He is an actor with a small handful of credits to his name, with one of his most-recent ones coming in “Looper.” It is still to be seen just how much airtime this character could receive, since it may only be for a scene or two. Still, that’s more of young Conrad than what we have seen so far.
Conrad, at least for now, is the center of both great excitement and also great mystery. It’s hard to not be somewhat angry at the guy after learning that he woke up in bed with Emily in the winter finale, even if it is not exactly clear as to what exactly happened during this Emily blackout. All we know is that there is some serious you-know-what going on with this character, and she’s got to find a way to get a grasp on it. Sadly, she’s starting to run a little short on allies.

Sadly, you’re going to be waiting until March 9 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern to see much more from the show. To help to easy the wait a little bit, we suggest just heading over to the link here, and signing up to get weekly TV updates. While we may not always have a “Revenge” scoop included, you never know when it could turn up!

Grace Fulton did an awesome job as young Victoria. I am hoping Cody Wood will be the same. I’ve always wondered what Conrad was like as a young person. What was his relationship with his parents? Was he mentally abused as a boy (his interaction with Edward in season 1 seems to say so)? Did he have different dreams before his father groomed him to be Grayson Global material?
Mainly, when Conrad was young, was he an American version of Voldemort (equally charming and evil) or was he a sweet person corrupted by those around him? Can’t wait to find out. :)
