‘Downton Abbey’ season 4, episode 5 (PBS) preview: More Jack Ross; also, Edith drama

Take a look -So what is coming up on “Downton Abbey” next week? Tonight’s episode provided quite a few revelations, but you know that almost all of these stories are not over just yet.

The biggest thing that you should be on the lookout for when it comes to drama is actually Lady Edith’s story. We have seen her romance with Michael Gregson take some dramatic twists and turns, but it’s fair to say that some of the biggest twists are still to come, and her life is going to become miserable and broken. To think, at the start of this season she was all smiles, and ready to go to Germany in order to live a happy life with her man.

As for some of the other stories, the big thing to discuss from the realm of Anna and Bates is that the latter is not going to give up when it comes to trying to figure out just who is responsible for some of the unspeakable acts that Anna fell victim to earlier this season. As for how that manifests itself … there’s going to be some element of mystery still out there, right?

As for the other major story point worth emphasizing here, we have to get into some discussion about Robert’s party, and the return of Jack Ross to the fray at the request of Lady Rose. This is going to have a very interesting reaction throughout the entire house, since jazz music is not exactly something that is that familiar to most of these upper-class British folks.
