‘The Bachelor’ rankings: Where Clare Crawley, Nikki Ferrell, more stand with Juan Pablo Galavis

Sharleen Joynt -Now that we are a decent length into this season of “The Bachelor,” that to us means one thing: Time to bust out some of the contestant rankings! These are a seasonal tradition for us, as we go through and pinpoint who is the most likely to get a rose, and who is likely to be abandoned in that limousine of tears and runny makeup as some interviewer tries to humiliate them further on camera.

What we have learned about Juan Pablo Galavis so far is that he seems to be into women with careers, and also women who seem to already have it figured out what they want in life. With that being said, he seems to be into the models / dancers of the group. We’re basing our rankings on edit, relationship with Juan Pablo, and also whether or not they have the right things in common with him.

5. Sharleen Joynt – This is a relationship that reminds us so much of Brooks Forester last season with Desiree Hartsock, where you have one party extremely interested, and then another treading water. We would not be shocked if Sharleen decides to do the same thing that Brooks does at around the final three, since we could certainly see Juan Pablo taking her that far. If she doesn’t back out, it’s very possible Juan Pablo picks her and is in for a surprise later.

4. Andi Dorfman – Andi is one of those contenders that you know is going to become important at some point, even though it hasn’t quite happened just yet. She has a good many attributes that we know he is looking for: She is not only mature, but has a great career already and seems pretty well together.

3. Kat Hurd – They had the most athletic date of the bunch so far, and it seems like she and Juan Pablo have a pretty great connection. Is it a superficial one above all else? That is what they are probably going to have to figure out as we get closer and closer to the end of the season.

2. Nikki Ferrell – Nikki is not really a dark horse anymore, since she is coming off of a rose on a group date. We say that edit is a huge factor in the placement that we give some of these contestants, and she has shown almost every sign of being around a while. She constantly has a ton of screen time, and has Juan Pablo’s attention whenever she is talking with him.

1. Clare Crawley – Despite that fit of anxiety, we still feel like Clare is the contestant to beat for one simple reason: The connection. Getting that first one-on-one date is often a reason why you end up getting that “favorite” status, and we think her being overly protective at this point is a good thing. Her story is also being mapped out in a way that you know there is a good bit more to come.
