Tomorrow night, you are going to have an opportunity to celebrate what is definitely a momentum occasion: The 100th episode of “The Vampire Diaries.” This has been a long time coming, especially for those fans who have been there since the very beginning.
So if you were a part of those early viewers who helped to get the ratings for the show high, and to spread the word that this was worth getting hooked on, a few members of the cast have a very simple message for you: Thank you. In the video below, you can see the likes of Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and the rest of the cast all share some of their thoughts on being a part of this, and how grateful they are to the fans. This show of course means more to them than something they love; it is a job, their livelihood. It has to be a weird feeling in a way that a group of people you do not know is so tied to your employment, but that is the case here.
There are also a few other welcome visitors in this video, mostly in that we haven’t seen them for a while. Take, for example, Sara Canning (who will be back as Jenna in the 100th episode), Matt Davis (Alaric), or Nathaniel Buzolic (Kol). This is further proof that even though you may be killed off on the show, you are still a part of the family.
