‘The Mentalist’ season 6 spoilers: New ‘Game of Thrones’ star to romance Lisbon
There is some great news now when it comes to the love life of Lisbon on “The Mentalist” this season. Unfortunately, this great news in no way involves Patrick Jane.
According to a report from TVLine, Pedro Pascal, best known for his role on “Graceland” an upcoming part on “Game of Thrones” season 4 as the Red Viper, is going to appear in a number of episodes this spring as FBI Special Agent Marcus Pike, a very charming man who makes a serious effort to try to woo a certain agent who has not been lucky in love as of late. While we understand that a good many people are rooting for her and Jane to hook up at some point, there’s also some other stuff here to consider. For example, Jane was not exactly much of a saint to Lisbon in that he killed Red John, and then took off to parts unknown to many for an extended period of time without much in the way of an explanation. She was left merely to communicate with him via letter. She could (understandably) be feeling a little bit hurt by that action.
So what could Jane be doing during all of this? Hopefully if you are a massive “Jisbon” shipper, getting a little bit jealous over the whole ordeal. If there is one thing that we have learned from TV as a whole over the years, it is that sometimes, the best way that you can really get someone to be interested in you is to also get them a little jealous at the same time. The presence of this new guy may actually be able to pull that off to a certain extent here, at least in forcing Jane to realize just how deep his feelings for her really are.

The creators/writers need to be told this is Stupid that’s it.
Going on 6 Years now there’s been a Massive Fan-Base for Jane and Lisbon to get together as a couple in the show and for them to be together in Seasons after but now what this 5 Episode Arc with What’s his name now Lisbon’s boyfriend.
So what do we all get if we are a Jisbon shipper and we want Jane and Lisbon together 1 maybe 2 episodes which it sort of looks like it will be that of both of them saying they are in love with each other and maybe 1 kiss.
Whoop-te-de-da-do ( Thanks for nothing ) Creators/Writers.
Dumb move for this story-line Lisbon boyfriend arc to begin.
We have waited for 6 Years for nothing between Jane and Lisbon into which there is something they should be together already.
