‘Teen Wolf’ season 3, episode 16 preview: Can Scott, Kira survive in the dark?

Teen Wolf -At times, Monday night’s “Teen Wolf” season 3 episode was largely a deep-dive into the world of powers: Who has them, what sort of power they can use with them, and also where they can use them. It took Lydia a while to locate Kira thanks to hers, but this move by her set up one of the first major stunners of the night. The second? Seeing Kira absorb enough energy to stop the latest killer in Beacon Hills in his track, but at the same time, also causing some sort of massive blackout.

With that in mind, you know what happens when there are blackouts: Terrible, terrible things. This is the focus of the next new episode, which carries with it the ever-appropriate title of “Illuminated.” We expect already some oh-so clever double meaning here, where some of the characters in the process start to learn new things about who they are. Shocker? Hardly. Take a look at the new synopsis below, which comes to us via the good folks over at SpoilerTV:

“Beacon Hills is under curfew from the power outage; the teens throw a blacklight Halloween party; Scott tries to earn Kira’s trust.”

Of course, people get bored and decide to throw a party at the worst time imaginable! We still have no idea how this is going to go over well with anyone, and instead is probably just going to cause all sorts of widespread carnage (not to mention possible drunkenness and / or hook-ups). Granted, there are at least a few moments within the first promo below that it looks like fun, but you have to remember at the end of the day that this is “Teen Wolf.” Almost everything that you would think could be good will come back to haunt you.
